YOUR PANTIES AND YOUR HEALTH!

As a lady, your panties happen to be one of your intimate cloth because they rest directly on your pubic region, and putting on a pair of clean pants should be part of your daily routine just the way you brush your teeth and in taking your bath. But obviously, what makes your panties clean isn’t quite as simple as you might think. Tossing your pair of panties into a bucket or machine alongside another colorful laundry may not be keeping it clean; that can pose a threat to your vaginal health.

It is very important that as ladies, you pay close attention to your underwear so well because, in a day, there happen to be different things that accumulate on your panties such as dirt, urine, feces, and vaginal discharge, to name a few and all of these serves as a breeding ground for bacteria, yeast, and fungi.

1). Wear Only Clean Panties

This keeps your vagina fresh, healthy and it offers you comfort. Wearing clean panties has a superabundance of benefits; as it prevents any microbe or bacteria from accumulating and festering in and around the vagina. This also helps in preventing bad odor and itching.

Studies have shown that 83% of clean panties can contain up to 10,000 bacteria that can survive your normal washing method, and this will trigger Vaginal Infection. I will advise you to take extra measures to make sure the bacteria are fully dead before you wear the panties.

Your panties will need an extra boost of cleaning power in a hot water with the appropriate dose of laundry detergent, to be extra sure you’re getting all of those infection-causing nastiness out of your way.

2). Wash Your Panties Properly

It is very common to wash your panties with other clothes together but this is not the proper way of washing them. Below are how to wash your panties:

- Wash your panties separately from other fabrics.

- Wash them in hot water to remove traces of discharge and bacteria you can't see. Your regular cold water can't get it done, the hot water will kill any germ lurking in the panties.

– Hand wash your panties rather than using the washing machine.

– If your underwear is white, you can use a little bleach on it to kill any microbes

3). Sun Dry Your Panties And Don't Wear Wet Pants

After washing, you must allow your panties to dry under the sunlight, spreading them inside your bathroom won't remove all the moisture in them and if you wear wet pants, the vulva will breed bacteria thereafter you might get an Infection. However, if the weather isn't favorable, you can iron them and they will be sterilized.

4). Wear Breathable Pants To Prevent Yeast From Multiplying

The vulva is a very sensitive area that doesn't need much moisture, the more the moisture down there, the more yeast multiplies. Wear pants that will absorb moisture, cotton-made panties are the best and it is highly recommended for every lady.

5). Choose Your Underwear Carefully

Avoid tight underwear. Tight pants may irritate your vagina, especially for those in menopausal age.

There is a need for well-fitting, fresh panties for the sake of your vaginal health. Replace them every three–six months, it shouldn't exceed one year. Your underwear hygiene matters so much to your Vulva and Vagina, so do them a favour by changing your panties when due.

6). Change Your Panties Every Day, More Than Once If You Want

Most Women change theirs once daily, some change theirs more than once. If you feel the need to change it more than once, do it. If there’s a vaginal discharge or bleeding, endeavor you change into clean pair of pants to keep the moisture at bay.

As ladies, whether you are having discharges or not wearing more than one pair of pants is a healthy choice.

Also, If You are prone to having Yeast Infection then consider going to bed at night pant-free or just wearing pajamas; this will prevent moisture buildup.
