WHAT IS VAGINAL HYGIENE?
-What is the vagina all about?
The Vagina is the passage leading from the opening of the vulva to the cervix of the uterus for copulation and childbirth in female mammals.
_What's hygiene?
These are conditions and practices that promote and preserve health. Another word for Hygiene is CLEANLINESS.
SO WHEN YOU HEAR OF VAGINAL HYGIENE,JUST THINK ABOUT THE STEPS AND MEASURES TAKEN TO ENSURE THAT THE VAGINA IS CLEAN AND HEALTHY.
One major cause of vaginal infection in the world today is due to the IMBALANCE OF THE HEALTHY BACTERIA living in the Vagina and this imbalance can be caused by POOR VAGINAL HYGIENE.
That's why it is essential we understand how to keep the vagina healthy. So bad, a lot of women till date refrain from talking or sharing tips on how to maintain feminine hygiene.
Proper Vaginal Hygiene is extremely important for a woman's health. Whether or not you're of Reproductive age. Keeping the vulva clean the correct way can make a huge difference when it comes to vaginal infections.
You need to understand that your vagina is an incredibly sensitive area and, thankfully, maintaining good Hygiene is exceptionally Simple. So here, I'm sharing six rules every lady can apply to have a healthy vagina.
6 RULES FOR VAGINAL HYGIENE
RULE ONE:
SAY NO! TO SCENTED FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS
Scented pads, scented wipes, fragranced soap, vaginal deodorant ,gels, scrubs. I know most of us ladies like beautiful fragrances but that shouldn't come close to the genitals please. Using these products will only increase the pH of your genital whereby you become readily charged+ to be infected. Moreover, using vaginal scrubs can lead to peeling of the skin, which can further up your risk of infections. Avoid these products!!!
RULE TWO:
AVOID DOUCHING
A Douche is a device which flushes up water into the vagina to clean vaginal secretions. Douching involves the use of certain chemicals which can interfere with the vaginal pH. This can, in turn, disrupt the normal vaginal bacteria.
A Healthy level of vaginal pH for a woman in her reproductive years is 4.0 to 4.5 acidic, and can be higher than 4.5 in women after menopause.
Many women think they are doing their body a favor by douching, but douching can cause the good bacteria in the vagina to become unbalanced.
RULE THREE
PRACTICE SAFE SEX
If you truly want to combat infections for your sake and that of those you love, including your children, then you have to PRACTICE SAFE SEX! Being faithful to your spouse saves you from the dangers outside and those within. I just hope you understand that. The truth is that while setting out to resolve a problem, you need to treat the cause i.e the reason behind the problem. Need I say more, NO PREMARITAL SEX if you aren't married. Please PRACTICE SAFE SEX so you don't expose yourself to infections that are money-consuming while treating and life-threatening as well.
RULE FOUR:
WIPE PROPERLY
THE BEST WAY TO wipe after using the toilet or while washing the external genital, is from "front to back" --- in other words, wipe your vulva first and then your anus. otherwise, bacteria from the anus can spread to your vagina, which can cause infections.
RULE FIVE:
KEEP THE UNDER GARMENTS DRY AND AVOID TALCUM POWDER.
Not wiping the vagina after urinating can cause the panties to be wet and it will produce some offensive odor. However. when the undergarments are wet. its allows certain micro-organisms to inhibit the undergarments. Do well to change your panties when wet and don't put on a wet swimsuit for long. I'd recommend you make use of panty liners ON YOUR PANT. it keeps you fresh! STOP THE USE OF TALCUM POWDER IT CAUSES TEARS AND OTHER HARMS SUCH AS ENDOMETRIAL CANCER. Don't forget to change your pads within 6 to 8 hours! STAY FRESH AND FREE FROM INFECTIONS
RULE SIX:
DO NOT IGNORE SIGNS OF VAGINAL INFECTIONS
NOTE!
THANKS FOR STICKING TILL THE END! YOU'RE AWESOME!
I'm excited that the six rules for having a healthy vagina is fully spelt out to you beautiful souls🥰✨, because one major cause of vaginal infection in the world today is due to the IMBALANCE OF THE HEALTHY BACTERIA living in the Vagina and this imbalance is caused by POOR VAGINAL HYGIENE.
ReplyDeleteI thought people that have sex that nomally have infection
ReplyDeleteNo! Everyone is virtually capable of contracting an Infection not minding the age not gender. However, this is based on the possibility where one is open to the triggers for the infection or if the person has a risk factor. As for ladies, we all need to be very careful and hygienic becaues our body system and structure is so fragile and delicate, this then makes us vulnerable to Infection so easily whether sex or not, sex is trigger factor. You just have to be careful and avoid all trigger factors of various Infection.
DeleteI hope you got a clarity now(smiles). Thank you for your feedback.
